A draft of the semi-annual community survey is in and rather than my ranking of something, here's Davenport citizens (the 403 responses to the 1,500 randomly mailed surveys with a +/- 4.9% confidence interval) ranking community issues that should be the City's top priorities.

1.7% - None (these folks are easy to work for)

5.5% - Enhanced City Customer Service (pretty low, staff is doing well)

7.7% - Environmental Stewardship

7.7% - Recreation / Leisure Activities

19.6% - Community Growth

21.8% - Downtown / Riverfront Revitalization

29% - Neighborhood Revitalization

31.5% - Education Improvement

40.2% - Public Safety

52.9% - Infrastructure Maintenance

63.8% - Retaining / Attracting Jobs
