Saw three 1969 Mustangs while driving to Palo Alto and back and, thus, the official ranking of the top ten years for Mustangs.

#10 – 2000 (Cobra R only)

#9 – 1973 (Tiffany Case / James Bond driving only)

#8 – 1968 Fastback 

#7 – 2012 (Boss 302 – the last great log axle dinosaur)

#6 - 2018 Bullitt

#5 - 1968 GT350 Convertible 

#4 (tie) – 2005 (clean, simple, and re-started the whole Mustang / Camaro / Challenger muscle car fight again)

#4 (tie) – 2008 / 2009 Bullitt

#3 – 1965

#2 – 1966

#1 – 1969 Mach 1s (69 and 70 were the most muscular Mustang model years, and 69 wins for four headlights and scoops in its hips)
